Save from your chats
Some chat apps let you add Sello as a connector (also called an app or a connection). Then you can ask the chat to save something to Sello.
How it works
- Ask the chat. For example: “Save this to Sello: today I finished the book.” Or: “Turn what we talked about into a journal entry for Sello.”
- The chat shows a card with the entry and Save to Sello. Some apps, like Gemini, show a link instead.
- Sello opens with the entry. Review it and save it. Like any entry, it’s encrypted on your device. Nothing is saved until you do.
The connector only hands the text to Sello. It can’t read, search, change, delete or publish your entries.
Add Sello
The address is https://sello.voypalante.com/mcp. It needs no sign-in.
- Claude: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, then paste the address.
- ChatGPT: add a custom app (MCP server) on the web with the address and no authentication.
- Gemini: add it in Connected apps on the Gemini website. Google offers this in some countries and languages only.
Privacy
The text goes through the chat app and through our server on its way to the card. Our server only sends it back: it doesn’t store it or write it to its logs. From the card to Sello it travels in the part of the link browsers never send to a server. Privacy policy.
