Import notes (Markdown)
Each note in a ZIP of Markdown or text files becomes one private entry.
1. Get a ZIP of your notes
- Obsidian: compress your vault folder (or the folder with your journal) into a ZIP.
- Bear: select the notes, Export notes as Markdown, then compress the folder.
- Notion: Export as Markdown & CSV. It’s already a ZIP.
- Anything else: a folder of
.mdor.txtfiles, compressed.
2. Import it
On a computer, in Sello: Settings › Your data › Import…, choose the ZIP, check the summary and click Import.
How Sello reads each note
