What Sello is
Sello is a journal. Everything you write is private, and only your phone can open it. When you want to share something, you publish that one entry to your own blog.

Private by default
Your phone holds the key to your journal, and your fingerprint, face or PIN opens it. Private entries, with their photos and videos, are encrypted on your phone before they’re uploaded. Our server keeps them, but can’t read them, and neither can we.
A blog when you want one
Publishing an entry puts it on your blog, at sello.voypalante.com/yourname. Anyone can read published entries. You can make one private again at any time. How publishing works.
On your phone and your computer
Sello is an app for Android, and soon for iPhone. You can also write from a computer at sello.voypalante.com, and your phone approves each sign-in. There’s no password to remember or to leak.
What it asks of you
Keep your backup key somewhere safe. If you lose your phone, it’s the only way back into your private entries. About the backup key.
